About CCS

"The Cancer Cluster Salzburg (CCS) brings together 16 expert groups in basic, translational and clinical cancer research from the Salzburg Cancer Research Institute (SCRI), the Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS) and the University Clinics Salzburg (SALK).

CCS focuses on tumor-microenvironment interactions, the immune system and cancer stem cells to explore new cancer-driving mechanisms and develop innovative treatments with improved therapeutic efficacy."
